POLICIES:
   
All prices are listed in US American Dollars and include all taxes for foreigners or non-residents in Peru. See important information below.
Pick ups, transfers, meal plan, tips or any other services are included in the prices if specified. Otherwise these services will be subject to being paid at the time they are rendered.
 

Reservations, Guarantee and Prepayment:

 
Reservations require a minimum lead time of 3 working days before the time the services are rendered.
As soon as all services are confirmed (the status of your booking request will be formally sent by e-mail), the prepayment must be made at the time of the stated deadline prior to departure date. This may be carried out through a wire transfer or a credit card charge.
A secured Visanet, American Express or Master Card Peru credit card authorization form is sent in order to carry out the prepayment, thus all services provided by Perurooms will be reconfirmed.
A copy of your credit card (front and back) and original passport or other id document with your signature may be required according to Visanet, American Express and Master Card Peru security procedures.
According to their policies, the charges for Visa and American Express are made in Peruvian Nuevos Soles considering a referential exchange rate given at the time of the charge. The charges for Master Card are made in US American Dollars.
We indeed guarantee that your credit card will NOT be charged without your specific approval for the total amount sent back to you by e-mail.
Once all services requested are confirmed, approved and paid for, a Voucher of Services is sent with a confirmation code. This voucher will describe all guaranteed services.
 

Penalties for Cancellations:

 
Cancellations from 1 – 4 rooms before deadline reconfirmation (this will be formally sent by e-mail with the status of your booking request) are subject to a USD 20.00 charge due to administrative purposes. Other charges may apply depending on hotel or tour operator.
Cancellations or reductions from 1 – 4 rooms after deadline reconfirmation will be subject to hotels or tour operator penalties (these will be formally sent by e-mail). These may apply one night charge per room plus 19% Peruvian Sales Taxes or may be not reimbursed or compensated.
In case of no-show, there is no reimbursement or compensation for the services reconfirmed in your Voucher of Services.

Notes: Some hotels (Inkaterra and Orient Express Hotels) or tour operators have more rigorous cancellation policies. Therefore, these suppliers keep the right to impose different penalties on reservations.
   

Modifications/Reductions:

 
After reconfirmation and prepayment deadline, modifications and/or reductions will be subject to availability and according to cancellation policies.
No refunds will be given for unused portions, nights or early check outs.
   

REMARK:

   
At the time of hotel check-in, foreigners and non-residents with less than 60 consecutive days in Peru must present original Passport and the Andean Migration Card - TAM (provided on board the aircraft by airline personnel upon arrival to Peru or you may get it in advanced at http://www.digemin.gob.pe/tam.asp), in order to avoid payment of Peruvian Sales Tax on hotel services. The 19% Peruvian Sales Tax on hotel services applies to Peruvian residents or foreigners with more than 60 consecutive days in Peru.

All reservations are managed by Perurooms S.A.C., and certified travel providers in Peru.
Perurooms.com offers accommodations and travel services supported by our extensive knowledge and years of experience in the hotel and travel business. Perurooms.com is responsible for supplying all services and accommodations as described and confirmed in your Voucher of Services.
Although Perurooms.com is committed to offer travelers the best recommended travel services, we act as an intermediary, any loss, accident, damage or injury to you or people traveling with you caused by the providers mentioned in your Voucher of Services will not be the responsibility of Perurooms. All damages incurred due to the above mentioned events or due to negligence of any hotel or travel provider is subject to local laws protecting the tourist. We will do our best to assist travelers in these cases.
Some services may be interrupted or cancelled due to natural disasters, weather conditions, civil commotion, strikes, earthquakes, political situation, accidents, sickness, flight delays, and reasons of force majeure or any other causes. Perurooms will not refund as a result of such interruptions or cancellations beyond our control. Our company reserves the right to change our cancellation policies, if our suppliers should apply further penalties apart from those stated above.
