Day 1 – Arrival to Lima
Pick up at Lima’s airport and transfer to your Hotel.

Day 2 – Lima City Tour
Breakfast at Hotel.
In the afternoon, our Lima City Tour offers the best combination of the different attractions in Lima and its three historical periods: pre-Hispanic, colonial and contemporary. In Lima, there were several different pre-Columbian cultures which are dated thousands of years back. Lima was part of the Inca Empire until was founded by the Spaniard Francisco Pizarro on the 18th. of January, 1535. During our guided tour we will travel along its millenary history. Finally, drop off at your hotel.

Day 3 – Lima to Paracas & Ballestas Islands
Breakfast at Hotel
Early pick up and transfer to Lima Bus Station to take an Premium Bus from Lima to Paracas.
Start a guided boat trip to Ballestas Islands, giving visitors a chance to gaze at the sea lion colonies. As well you will look out across the hillside at the candlestick-like figure of the Candelabro, carved into the sand with a similar technique to the Nazca Lines.
Afternoon transfer to Paracas Bus Station to continue your journey to Nasca.

Day 4 – Nasca Lines
Before breakfast, transfer to Nasca aerodrome to get aboard an aircraft to fly over mysterious Nasca Lines.
Fifty square km of desert floor were covered centuries ago by vast drawings, figures of mammals, insects and deities. The Nasca Lines are the most extraordinary legacy left by a culture that flourished in 300 BC. The lines are a series of complex designs, some up to 300 meters long which can only be seen in their true dimension from the sky, from an altitude of at least 1,500 feet.
Afternoon transfer to Nasca Bus Station to continue your journey to Arequipa in a Premium Bus.
Arrival to Arequipa. Pick up and transfer to your comfortable Hotel.

Day 5 – White City of Arequipa

In the afternoon, start your guided tour to Arequipa City, known as the White City for its beautiful colonial buildings made of ‘sillar’, a white volcanic stone. This city lies at the feet of the mighty volcanos of Mount Chachani, Mount Misti, and the snow covered peak of Mount Pichu Pichu. The downtown of the city features Mixed Baroque churches and mansions from the Colonial Period like the Monastery of Santa Catalina, a Spanish city in miniature with stone streets, beautiful patios, and plazas.

Day 6 – Arequipa to Colca Valley
Breakfast at Hotel
Guided excursion to Colca Valley, one of the most extraordinary destinations in Peru. We will ascend the hillside of Volcan Chachani, having a spectacular view of Volcan Misti and Pichu Pichu. As well you will have the opportunity to witness and take pictures of one of the most graceful South American Camelids: ‘vicuñas’, where can still be seen in their natural habitat.
You will be dropped off at your hotel.
Free afternoon at leisure to rest up and get accustomed to the altitude or enjoy La Calera thermal baths (entrance fee not included)
Overnight: In Colca Valley

Day 7 – Colca Canyon & the Condor
Breakfast at Hotel
Early pick up and departure to the viewpoint Condor Cross to observe the Andean condors, which soar overhead, granting a spectacular view across the Colca Canyon, one of the world’s deepest. Throughout the Colca Valley, you can see colorful pre-Incan agricultural terraces still used today for growing quinoa, corn, barley, and wheat.
Optional: If you wish, you may be dropped off at Colca Lodge Spa & Hot Springs to benefit from a BBQ lunch and use of the hot springs (towels will be provided) at this 4* hotel. Note that transfer back to your hotel is not included – you may get assistance at Colca Lodge for a reliable taxi driver).

Day 8 – Beautiful Colca to Puno Path
Breakfast at Hotel
At noon departure to the City of Puno. Enjoy spectacular views of the Andes en-route. According to travel time and weather conditions, stops on the way at Mirador de Volcanes Patapampa, Pampa de Tojra -birdwatching-, Pampa Cañahuas, Lagunillas (birdwatching). Travel time takes approximately five to six hours drive.
Arrival and transfer to your hotel.

Day 9 – Lake Titicaca ‘the highest navigable lake in the world’
Breakfast
Start a living culture and cultural exchange experience at Lake Titicaca. We will take a motorboat to visit the fascinating Uros floating islands. Then continue to Amantani Island where you will be welcomed by local people who will share with you their knowledge, experiences, myths, believes, way of living and costumes. Afterwards, we will go ahead with guided afternoon visits.
Overnight: In Amantani Island - Lake Titicaca
Meal Plan: you will be in charge of paying directly to your host family a fare of S/ 50 Peruvian Nuevos Soles or USD 20 per person for lunch, dinner and breakfast. The community members have established this fare and this it is reasonable.
Day 10 – Lake Titicaca ‘the highest navigable lake in the world’
After breakfast, we will continue to Taquile Island, which is inhabited by Quechua speaking natives, who have developed both an efficient and original social system and a fine hand weaving technique over several generations. Finally, return and drop off at your hotel.
Overnight: In Puno
Meal Plan: you will be in charge of paying directly to the local family restaurant a fare of S/20 Peruvian Nuevos Soles or USD 8 per person for lunch. The community members have set this fare and think it is reasonable.
Day 11 – Scenic Cusco to Puno Path
Breakfast at hotel. Departure to the City of Cusco in a Premium Tourist Bus. This ride takes between 8 and 9 hours with several stops for guided tours on the way to Pucara Stone Museum, La Raya -the highest point of the journey-, Raqchi which is the temple dedicated to God Wiracocha and Andahuaylillas, called the Sistine Chapel of the Americas. Lunch included.
Arrival to the Capital of the Inca Civilization, Cusco. Drop off at your hotel.
Overnight: In Cusco City
Meal Plan: breakfast and lunch
NOTE: Premium tourist bus ride takes between 8 or 9 hours with several stops for guided tours and tourist lunch en route. Otherwise, you may choose the scenic Andean Explorer First Class Train -10 hours ride- with lunch and entertainment onboard included only if travelling on Monday, Wednesday, Friday or Saturday (at an additional cost of USD 155 per person) .
Day 12 – Cusco City
Breakfast at hotel. Start a guided tour that will show you the amazing colonial city built on the foundations of the Inca palaces. You will visit the Koricancha or Temple of the Sun, the Plaza de Armas and the Cathedral. Then you will be driven to the Inca fortress of Sacsayhuaman, to the underground cave and temple of Kenko, Puca Pucará and to Tambomachay, known as the Baths of the Inca.
Overnight: In Cusco City

Day 13 – Sacred Valley of the Incas
Breakfast at hotel. Pick up in the morning from your hotel in Cusco. You will be driven through a scenic landscape to the Urubamba Valley, the ‘Sacred Valley of the Incas’. Arriving at the town of Pisac, an hour drive from Cusco, you will visit the colorful Pisac Market, where the locals meet to sell their merchandise as they have done it for centuries. There is also a handicraft market. Then continue toward Urubamba. Lunch included. The tour goes on to the town of Ollantaytambo from where you will climb up to its imposing Inca fortress at the top of the mountain. Drop off at your hotel.
Overnight: In Sacred Valley of the Incas or Machupicchu Pueblo (Aguas Calientes Village)

Day 14 – Train journey to Machu Picchu ‘One of the New Seven Wonders of the World’
Breakfast at Hotel. At the appropriate time, transfer to the train station. Departure of the rail coach through an amazing route. The trains have panoramic windows offering unsurpassed scenic views and photographic opportunities as you enter the Inca's territory in search for Machu Picchu Citadel. With glass surrounding them on all sides, passengers feel as if they are part of Peru's remarkable landscape.
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and accompanied to your hotel.
If you stay in Machupicchu Pueblo the previous night, g et up the earliest possible and catch the bus up -approximately 25minutes ride- to the top of the mountain: Machu Picchu Sanctuary. You may take this unique chance to ascend to the Inti Punku (the Gate of the Sun) or climb the Wayna Picchu Mountain –if you are in shape- (and if you have previously requested this entrance at the time of the booking; check with your travel advisor) , where one can experience spectacular panoramic views of all of Machu Picchu, the valleys and mountains that surround it, or visit the Temple of the Moon or the fabulous Inca Bridge.
S tart your tour to the hidden gem of the Incas: Machu Picchu Citadel. This is one of the most renowned examples of Inca architecture, surrounded by lush cloud forest. Lost in history, it was not discovered until 1911 by the American explorer Hiram Bingham. At the end of the tour, limit yourself to taking a stroll around the Citadel. Head back by train to Cusco City in the evening. Transfer Cusco Train Station to Hotel.

Day 15 – Cusco at your own pace
Breakfast at Hotel.
Free day at leisure and spend the whole day sightseeing the lively ancient Inca capital. Cusco is one of the best cities in Peru to try our Peruvian cuisine, our Pisco Sour national drink, to explore less-visited attractions like San Blas neighborhood, San Pedro Market to shop, to visit museums like MAP PreColumbian Art Museum , walk along the colonial city, and party.

Day 16 – Back to Lima
Breakfast at Hotel. At scheduled time, pick up from you hotel and transfer to Cusco’s Airport to take your flight back to Lima or to any other destination you would like to enjoy.
