So, we started surfing the web. As usual, several websites were thrown-up by the search engine, and we wrote an initial mail to 10-12 of them. Most did not even bother to reply. Of the three that replied, we found PeruRooms most reassuring. Not only were they more responsive and proactive, but their website was uncluttered, pithy (relevant info & facts – not long garrulous treatises) and attractive.

Then we contacted them (Rosa Amelia – bless her) on the phone and they were warm and reassuring. Rosa Amelia immediately understood the concerns we had (so far from home, not knowing the lay-of-the-land, not knowing the language). She simply took charge.

She worked out our itinerary, transportation, hotel bookings and also advised us on how many days to stay in each place. What followed when we reached Lima was also very impressive. At every place we had personalized contact with PeruRooms representative & great hotels that were within our limited budget.

All in all, our stay in Peru was very comfortable and our sightseeing was done in just enough time - not too rushed, yet no wastage of time. All this would not have been possible but for the help of Rosa Amelia and Peru Rooms. Ever since we are back, we have been singing their praise to all our friends and they too are amazed at the quality of service we got.

We had an incredible journey in Peru.  Your help was absolutely invaluable.  Prior to contacting you, we tried to get hotel rooms in various cities and just couldn't get confirmation at several of them (probably due to the fact that we don't speak Spanish).  Also, your finding out about our airline schedule being changed saved us a lot of trouble.  Your expertise helped us find good places to stay and fun places to see.

The tours you arranged always picked us up promptly and had good service.  The hotels you arranged were always ready for our arrival.  The airport pick-up was friendly and right there as we arrived in Lima. We also noted that you actually saved us money on several of the hotels and tours you arranged for us.  That is a nice bonus to any traveler.

Tuvimos un viaje muy placentero y todo salió como planeado. La guía turística fue excelente y la transportación del Valle Sagrado estuvo muy a su tiempo y agradable.

Lo más que yo personalmente disfruté, aparte de ver el increíble Machu Picchu, fueron los días que pasamos en Urubamba Villas. Allí todos fueron muy amigables en especial Bertha que fue la persona que nos atendió y nos cocinó unas cenas deliciosas.  Mis hijos y mi esposo también quieren agradecerte tu trabajo tan profesional y tu buena comunicación.

I would like to express my sincere thanks for all your help on our trip to Peru. Everything could not have been better.

When I first contacted you, it was to get a Hotel Room in Agua Calientes. When that worked out well, you arrange for hotel rooms in Lima and Cusco.  All of these accommodations were excellent and convenient to the attractions.

When this had been organized, I allowed you to make our plane and train reservations.  Not only were these well done, but you also arranged to have people meet us at the airport as well as the train station.  Things could not have been better planned.

I would highly recommend you and Perurooms to assist any traveler going to Peru. Your help certainly expedited our Trip and made our tourism a very pleasant and rewarding experience.

Together with my two daughters, Anne and Maxine, aged 16 and 18, we want to thank you for organising our trip. You organized very well our private French speaking tour, from the airport in Cusco, to the Sacred Valley, to the top of Waynu Picchu, back to Cusco and to the airport. You paid attention to the details and gave us the comfort to think that everything was under permanent control. We will remember the way back on the luxury Hiram Bingham train. There again, the pick up at the station and transfer to the hotel was perfect.
